If scientists are correct and a mini ice age does occur, will it be a faux paus to drive an emission free car?

Since most power is produced from combustion of fuel in the US, the Volt and Leaf have quite a carbon foot print. You just don't see the source of the CO2 and can feel better about not creating CO2 if you are too stupid to realize that the people providing you with electricity are producing CO2 in your name.
