Is this arachnophobia?

I have never really liked spiders to begin with, but a month ago I had a bad incident and my fear turned to bad to unbearable. I was in the bathroom on the toilet, I saw the tiniest spider (no smaller then the tip of my pinky!) and was so scared and fearful to kill it. I jumped on top of the toilet and I got so upset I puked I was looking around to see if any other spiders were in the room, to the right behind my toilet was a wolf spider (an actual wolf spider, I live 12 feet away from over 4 miles of woods). I became frozen then ran out screaming and bawling into my bedroom and ever since then I won't go in a room without checking under, through, and on everything.. multiple times. Then when I am in the room the tiniest thing that looks or feels like a spiders, even something like a piece of yarn I begin to hyperventilate.
