Is the levant and mesopotamian region the regions that gave greeks/italians there look/phenotype?

im studying thats where the main bulk of greek and south italian dna came from and later got mixed with indo-europeans? whereas in iberia southwest europe they were more related to atlantic irish and north african berbers? how true is this??
